This term in Room 4 and Room 3, we are learning about Sustainability. Sustainability is all about recycing, re-using and reducing what we use to make sure our Earth's resources stay here longer.
As part of our learning we watched a documentary called "Message in the Waves". It taught us about what rubbish is doing to the world. We decided to make a blog all about the negative side of rubbish and how we can fix it! Here is the link to our blog, check it out!!!

I heard the 'Cha-ching" of the cash machineI heard the rattling od the plastic bag
I saw the money getting handed over
I felt like the luckiest human on Earth
I felt so great when I got her
I wondered how they made her beautiful pink and green hair

These things make me happy
The feeling of a baby wolf's tear slowly trickling down its face
I am amazed at the sight of dolphins jumping gracefully out of the water
I love the amazing smell of ice-cream melting quickly on a hot summer day
I am crazy over the salty taste of Stumpy's biltong at Cameron's house
But must of all, I love the smell of summer on a hot day at the beach

Experimenting with VidRhythm on the iPads
We spent the morning trying out a wicked new app called VidRhythm. You get to make sounds and add them into songs. Sometimes we used words, sometimes crazy sounds. Even our teacher did one!! Feel free to comment on the videos :)

Technology Challenge!!!
Given only 1 newspaper, a pair of scissors and Sellotape we had to create clothes and accessories suitable for a meeting with the government. So much fun!!!
